Although adding an electric strike is a reversible process, the easiest thing to do when you move is to leave the electric strike and then simply disconnect the device. When disconnected, the strike works just like any regular strike with little evidence of any change.

If you wanted to retain the original keep (although we don’t  recommend it) you can then put it back and use filler to tidy up any changes to the doorframe. Disconnecting / removing the device is possible to do yourself; however, previous users who have moved home have tended to pass it on to the new owners.

Also, because it's a retrofit product you can continue to use the original keys.
